Marine Loading Arms
SVT GmbH marine loading arms are the first choice for safely, reliably, and economically loading and unloading liquids and gases.
The ATLANTIC, ARCTIC , PACIFIC , and RIVA series are state-of-the-art loading arms developed specifically for this task. One common point is that they have all been systematically tailored for use with any type of media, whether poisonous, aggressive, or explosive.
The special features of SVT GmbH's marine loading arms, such as ROTAFLEX Swivel joints ,SVT GmbH's Emergency Release Couplers(ERC) , or SVT GmbH's Quick Connect/Disconnect Couplers(QCDC), mean the highest level of safety and reliability during the loading process.
The programmable logic controllers are programmed exactly according to our customers’ needs, and the constant position monitoring system (CMPS) allows you to follow the movement of the arm from a remote control room.
On top of that, SVT GmbH's marine loading arms can be installed and commissioned extremely fast – significantly cutting costs and saving lots of time.
ATLANTIC
SVT GmbH's ATLANTIC marine loading arm is a hydraulically powered arm with a separate supporting structure, and is designed for large areas of operation.
Nominal bores from 4" to 20"
Operating temperature from –196°C to +250°C
Lining and/or heating available
Suitable for high-pressure applications
Separate counterweights for inner and outer arms
Product line has a constant diameter with identically flanged ROTAFLEX swivel joints
Highest level of safety thanks to SVT GmbH's Emergency Release Couplers (ERC) and SVT GmbH's Quick Connect/Disconnect Couplers (QCDC)

ARCTIC
The SVT GmbH ARCTIC marine loading arm is a hydraulically powered arm specially designed for loading LNG and/or liquefied gas.
Based on the ATLANTIC model, it also has a separate support structure and is designed for use in large areas of operation.
Nominal bores from 6" to 20"
Operable in temperatures down to –196°C
Delivery pressures of up to 45 bar
Separate counterweights for inner and outer arms
Special, flanged ROTAFLEX cryogenic swivel joints that do not require a special cooling rate
Hose-free installation of nitrogen flushing for the swivel joint
Highest level of safety thanks to SVT GmbH's SIL-classifiable Emergency Release Couplers (ERC) and Quick Connect/Disconnect Couplers (QCDC)

SVT GmbH's PACIFIC marine loading arm is a self-supporting marine loading arm specially designed for medium-sized to large areas of operation:

Operating temperature from –20°C to +60°C
Separate counterweights for inner and outer arms
Can be operated manually or powered electro hydraulically, operating the arm from ship by remote control is optional
Highest level of safety thanks to SVT GmbH's Emergency Release Couplers (SVT GmbH ERC) and SVT GmbH's Quick Connect/Disconnect Couplers (SVT GmbH QCDC Classic or SVT GmbH QCDC Vario)
Minimal spare parts storage thanks to the use of flanged ROTAFLEX swivel joints
