Flexform™ Sheet Metal Forming

Quintus Technologies cordially invites you to attend a unique High Pressure Flexform Open House on October 11th, 2018 in Vasteras, Sweden.
The event presents the great opportunity to meet with a multitude of sheet metal forming experts from around the globe, as well as an exclusive tour of the Quintus workshop and the new High-Pressure Application Center !
In our application center we have the pleasure to show:
- QFC 1.6x4-100, 85,000 ton press force over a 1.6 x 4 meter forming area
- QFC 1.2x4-100, 66,000 ton over a 1.2 x 4 meter forming area
- QFC 0.7 x1.8-800, 17,000 ton over 0.7 x 1.8 meter
- QFM 0.8-800, a 4,000 ton deep draw fluid cell press
all equipment being in various stages of assembly and final testing before shipment to end users. The said equipment will be used to demonstrate the Quintus forming flexibility and the simplicity of the tool concept.
The NEW! High Pressure Warm Forming process, a viable, cost efficient forming method for Titanium 6Al-4V will be demonstrated in the Quintus application center.
- Learn how to use simulation forming software to best combine modern tool design with high pressure forming. Follow the process from theory to reality
- See the unique Quintus wire-winding fabrication process in operation, the key to the unique high-pressure capability and equipment unmatched long life
- The tour of the workshop and the application center will be combined with a seminar session, which will allow you to share experiences with other colleagues from the global sheet metal forming industry.
- Finally, in conjunction with the Open House event at Quintus Technologies, a separate reference visit will also be arranged on October 12 at the company, Trestad Laser , operating a Quintus press type QFM 1.1-800. www.trestadlaser.se
Quintus Technologies will be pleased to host a dinner on the evening of October 11 and to provide transport between the local hotel and the Quintus facilities. Lunch and refreshments will also be provided during the open day. Please also note that for early arrivals an informal drop-in welcome dinner will be arranged in the evening of October 10.
