Hawx is equipped with an electro-welded steel RAM among the heaviest and sturdiest in this machine category, while still guaranteeing speed and dynamics.
It runs vertically on the carriage by means of two precision guideways, each equipped with three linear guide blocks and is driven by a brushless motor powering a ground ball screw with preloaded double lead nut.

The RAM accurate positioning is detected by means of motor encoders with linear scales available as an option.
