The Metal Forming Team at Quintus Meets New and Existing Customers Globally
qu Visitors at our Fabtech booth were able to find out how Quintus' unique Flexform™ hydroforming technology can reduce production cost and cut lead times. Strong Presence at Fabtech and Euroblech We are ecstatic with the interest our visitors at both Fabtech in Atlanta, GA and at Euroblech in Hannover, Germany showed in our unique hydroforming technology and our new High Pressure Warm Forming process. Quintus also presented on the topic of “New Development within the Hydroform Technology” at the Alternate Forming Processes Educational program. Click here to receive a copy of the full paper.
The capability to form and trim parts in one and the same forming operation, using the unique and simple Flexform one-piece die technology was demonstrated at our Open House. Quintus Open House Event in Sweden At the event, invited customers experienced a tour of the workshop and the recently inaugurated application center. Quintus demonstrated the latest high pressure developments, including the new High Pressure Warm Forming process. The workshop tour was combined with seminar sessions offering great opportunities to discuss specific metal fabrications issues with colleagues from all around the world. Visitors from all over the globe, including European countries, China, Japan and the USA made the event, truly a global information sharing session.

New Quintus Flexcell™ Concept
Quintus Technologies introduces the Flexcell concept, a solution dedicated to efficient low volume sheet metal fabrication. The system takes advantage of the high pressure Flexform technology, using only one rigid tool half, the other tool-half being a flexible rubber diaphragm, backed up by hydraulic oil pressure. The Flexcell concept minimizes the time for tooling changes and takes the time for new tool set-ups from hours to seconds. The Flexcell concept substantially increases productivity, allowing fabrication of small production batches, when a wide variety of part shapes are required. The Flexcell Concept makes the handling of heavy tools easier. It also takes away the manual feeding of parts, making this process safer and more efficient.
